“Mendami” is the first App to organize and support blood donation on a national level in Libya. Launched in 2025 with the National Blood Transfusion Services, Libyan Ministry of Health, and Expertise France in Libya, it promotes voluntary blood donation and ensures safe, reliable access to blood nationwide.

Motive

The need to strengthen Libya’s blood transfusion system and promote a culture of voluntary donation inspired the creation of “Mendami.” In collaboration with local and international partners, the app aims to enhance the blood donation experience nationwide.

Achievement

The creation of “Mendami” app began with developing a visual identity that fully reflects its purpose. The app was designed as an informative digital platform that combines blood donation awareness with a smooth and interactive user experience, providing information on blood donation centers, the latest news and activities, and personal donation history for each user.
